Home of the Week: Classic Urban Homes

This week the Dallas Builders Association has selected this gorgeous Mid Century Modern Home in Dallas built by Classic Urban Homes. This home is designed to fit the established neighborhood of Midway Hollow.

Still under construction, the home at 4157 Meadowdale is a tribute to the William Krisel modern homes of Palm Springs. In collaboration with Scott Marek of Marek Architecture, Classic Urban Homes has designed a true gem with a butterfly roof, concrete block screening wall and all the modern amenities you could ever need.

This home is a one story brick home with traditional post and beam roof construction showcasing the large beams starting out front running through the interior of the house and ending out back to accentuate the unique roof line. Ground and polished concrete floors run throughout the home reminiscent of terrazzo. Porcelain tiles, Quartz counter tops and commercial grade appliances are just a few of the homes many features.
Extra details were given to pay homage of the Mid Century Homes of the past. When you drive down the street you have to wonder if this is an original home from the 1950’s or new construction.

From the moment you walk up the circle concrete path you realize you are about to enter something special. The open floor plan design is perfect for entertaining and the sliding glass doors allow the party to flow outside to the large patio overlooking the pool.

This home is 4030 sq. ft and features 5 bedrooms, 4 ½ baths , pool and a large storage area adjacent to the 2 car garage.

4157 Meadowdale will be open Sunday, August 5, from 2-5 pm.
