SPC Daniel Dumas Project

SPC DANIEL DUMAS PROJECT

The Dallas BA teamed up with Plantation Homes and Hillwood Communities to undertake its sixth Operation FINALLY HOME project. U.S. Army SPC Daniel Dumas and his family moved into their new home in the master-planned community of Union Park in Little Elm on May 24. SPC Dumas joined the Army in 2009 and became a medic because he loved helping people. He retired honorably from service in 2014 after receiving many commendations, including the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Combat Medical Badge and several other awards. Dumas continues to suffer from back and knee pain from injuries suffered in the Army, as well as anxiety and PTSD.
