SGT. KEN KALISH PROJECT
This home was built in the Sanctuary at Lake Ridge in Cedar Hill by Victory Custom Homes in partnership with SouthStar Communities and the Former NFL Players Association. The recipient of the home is Marine Sgt. Ken Kalish. Kalish and his dog Fynn were trained to detect IEDs. Sgt. Kalish only had 30 days left on his tour of duty when he stepped on an IED and was severely injured.He was presented the keys to his mortgage-free custom home on September 8, 2014.
