Ellis County is home to more than 152,000 residents. The County’s total area is 952 square miles, and is comprised of 15 cities, and 7 towns. Many of these municipalities have done a fantastic job of embracing working class families by keeping housing costs affordable. Close enough to enjoy all of the big city benefits while coming home to quiet and comfort, Ellis County offers plenty of value. Employment centers such as the new 300,000 square foot Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Waxahachie are the engines powering current and future growth.
